P&Z Work Session
The Planning and Zoning Commission met in a work session on June 25 to discuss updates to the Subdivision Regulations proposed by city staff and consultant KPS Group. Changes to the Subdivision Regulations come in response to the recently approved updates to the Zoning Ordinance and to the adopted Engineering Manual.
The following revisions were made after the work session:
- Added definition of "curb radius"
- Clarified in §4.09.02 that average lot size refers to the size of lots within the same phase or sector of the same subdivision.
- Changed "major road" reference to "major street" for consistency with defined terms. See §4.09.06 Flag Lots.
- Added note to Table 6-3 that curb radius is measured to back-of-curb.
- Updated Figure 6-1 to show measurement of actual and effective curb radius
The Commission expects to hold a final public hearing and vote on the proposed changes in August.
