Commission to Vote on Regulations August 19

The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a final hearing on draft changes to the Subdivision Regulations at 6pm on August 19.

Recent changes to the draft include:

  • Additional language in §1.05 Enforcement, Violations and Penalties stating that individuals and businesses in violation of infrastructure, stormwater or open space requirements may not participate in a subdivision request until the violation is resolved
  • Additions to §3.06 Final Plat Required and §4.10 requiring maintenance plans and responsibilities for common open spaces and facilities must be submitted for approval by the City Attorney.
  • Addition to Appendix A-1 stating that applicants or their representatives must be present at preliminary plat hearings

  1. There are several but one mostly my concern is residents not to place their basketball goals on the street and they are left there. Place them on their private property. Not on public street In their driveway

  2. Even when there is no HOA, remove trash can from the curve after trash pickup day. It should not remain at curve
